Coronavirus Special Notice:

Lima Veterinary Center is committed to protecting the health and safety of our clients and their pets. We are taking measures throughout our hospital facility to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect both our clients and staff including the following measures. We are now providing routine care for pets in addition to urgent care, prescription refills and emergency services; however, we are scheduling appointments and controlling traffic flow in our lobby to allow for appropriate social distancing and reduced building occupancy. Please call ahead to make an appointment or request prescription refills and follow the admission procedures below upon arrival.

When you arrive, please call our lobby at 585-582-3131 and let us know you have arrived.

  • If you are here to pick up a prescription refill and are paying by cash or check, we may offer curb-side service. Those paying by credit card will be asked to
come into the lobby when the lobby is clear of other clients and patients.

  • If you are here for an appointment, we will invite you in when the lobby is clear and your exam room is clean and ready for use. One person is permitted to come into the exam room with the pet.

  • Everyone entering the building is required to wear a mask at all times and maintain 6’ social distance whenever possible.
Cancellation policy: We require 24 hours notice to cancel a regular appointment and 48 hours notice to cancel a surgery appointment. Cancelations with shorter notice and no shows are subject to service charges.

We are making every effort to remain on schedule and minimize wait times. However, we do appreciate your patience as we do our best to meet COVID-19 prevention requirements, sanitize surfaces after every use and coordinate the flow of people and pet traffic while maintaining necessary social distancing rules. We apologize for any delays the procedures may cause and appreciate your cooperation as we do our best to keep everyone safe
